Phoenix Residential Services is building partnerships, expanding knowledge, creating options, and opening doors.... for people with developmental disabilities and their families.

The phrase "Dream it! Live it!" was chosen to reflect our commitment to being strong and active advocates for people with disabilities and their families, to make sure they have access to the services and supports they need to live their lives in the way that they choose.

At Phoenix Residential Services we have certain Core Values that form the foundation of all that we do as we work with you and your family:

• To provide support, information and choices to help individuals and their families make wise and thoughtful decisions about their lives and to have as much control over their lives as possible

   

   

• To work in partnership with our customers, families, service providers, and staff - committed to our shared vision of helping people with disabilities live full, active lives as valued members of their community

   

   

• To think of the person, not just the disability, and provide person-centered services which emphasize each individual’s strengths and capabilities and which respect the opinions and preferences of the family

   

   

• To maintain the principle of the least restrictive/most inclusive alternative. This means that services and supports should not restrict individual freedom or impose controls any more than is necessary, and that they should be provided in natural as opposed to special or segregated settings.
